When: Opens March 15, runs to March 27, at 8:00 pm

Why: A Requiem for the Forcibly Displaced. Trevor Schwellnus directs and designed it.
Revived from it’s impressive SummerWorks about events in Columbian river town.

What: Damien Atkins reading at TheatreBooks

Where: Theatre Books, 11 St. Third Floor, Thomas Street,

When: March 16, at 7:00 pm

Why: It’s the gifted playwright, Damien Atkinson reading from his work.

What: SPIN

Where: Buddies in Bad Times Theatre

When: Opens March 16 to March 27. 8:00 pm

Why: Evalyn Parry has created and stars in this homage to women bicycles and liberation.

What: FRANKENSTEIN

Where: The Scotia Bank Cinema on Richmond Street.

When: March 17 at 7:00 pm

Why: It’s part of the National Theatre of Great Britain series of filmed performances.
This one is of their production of Frankenstein. It’s filmed that night in London and
we see it the same day in Toronto. This series is terrific.

Where: The Young Centre for the Performing Arts

When: March 18, 2011 at 7:30 pm

Why: Remount of the Soulpepper production of William Saroyan’s huge play about life,
art, love and chewing gum.
