Why: unrequited love between two gay boys on the Rez. Stars writer/performer Waawaate Fobister. Won 6 Dora Awards when it originally played Buddies.

What: ZADIE’S SHOES

Where: Factory Theatre Mainspace

When: Opens Thur. May 5, 2011 at 8:00 pm until June 5, 2011

Why: Written and co-directed by Adam Pettle and co-directed by Jordan Pettle. A man gambles his girlfriend’s money away that she was going to use for an alternative cancer treatment. He prays for a miracle. It’s the Pettle brothers so it’s a comedy.

What: THE RAILWAY CHILDREN

When: Opens Sunday, May 8 at 2:00 pm. Continues until June 26, 2011

Why: A terrific show with a real antique train, a charming story based on E. Nesbitt’s kid’s book. And it’s not just for kids.
