At Buddies in Bad Times Theatre until December 4. Produce by the always inventive MModern Times Stage Company.

Based the life of Hallaj, the ninth century philosopher and poet and his religious convictions that God was in everyone. This philosophy and four little words led to his
imprisonment.

The text by Peter Farbridge and Soheil Parsa is both poetic and dry. The production directed by Parsa is vivid and often compelling, even though Farbridge as Hallaj is a bit stodgy in his performance
