Kim Blackwell, 4th Line Theatre Managing Artistic Director interviews Sedina Fiati, the multi-talented theatre creator on line. Also check out their first ever Halloween show: Bedtime Stories and Other Horrifying Tales to take place in the meadows and fields of the farm (Oct. 20-30).

Beneath Springhill: The Maurice Ruddick Story, written and performed by Beau Dixon, about an African-Canadian who was a hero when he saved several of his co-workers lives because of the Springhill mining disaster.  

It takes place in a private backyard, in Barrie, Ont. Part of the fall live theatre initiative of Artistic Producer Arkady Spivak through his Talk is Free Theatre. There are several more plays in the series over the next several weeks. Check the website:

Something Bubbled, Something Blue. Eden and Zara’s Wedding.

A collaboration between The National Arts Centre and Talk is Free Theatre. Co-created by Mitchel Cushman and Anahita Dehbonehie. Eden and Zara met in a park and now they are marrying in one. You must RSVP to find out the secret location.
